Biblical Encouragement For The Season You’re Walking Through

There are things about ourselves we simply cannot see clearly on our own.

We have blind spots. We become accustomed to patterns. We develop explanations for behaviors and circumstances we've lived with for years. What is familiar can begin to feel normal—even when it isn't healthy or true.

That is why we need God's truth.

Scripture gives us something our own perspective cannot: a standard outside ourselves.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there be any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way.”
— Psalm 139:23–24 (NASB 1995)

That is a courageous prayer.

David wasn't simply asking God to examine the circumstances around him. He was inviting God to examine him.

Awakening requires that same willingness.

Search me. Show me. Lead me.

God may reveal beliefs you've accepted, patterns you've repeated, wounds influencing your decisions, or places where your thinking has moved away from His truth.

What He reveals is not an invitation to condemnation.

It is an invitation to walk in truth.

You don't have to discover every blind spot yourself.

Your responsibility is to remain willing for God to show you what you cannot see—and willing to follow when He does.

Truth to carry forward:
God sees what we cannot. We can trust Him enough to ask Him to show us.
