Biblical Encouragement For The Season You’re Walking Through

Feelings are real.

But feelings are not always reliable interpreters of reality.

You can feel rejected without actually being rejected.

You can feel forgotten while God remains completely attentive to you.

You can feel afraid while still being safe.

You can feel uncertain while God's truth remains certain.

Our emotions provide information about what we're experiencing, but they were never intended to become our final authority.

That's an important distinction.

Renewal doesn't require denying your feelings.

You can acknowledge them honestly:

This hurts.

I'm afraid.

I'm disappointed.

I feel alone.

Then you can ask:

What is true?

Feelings can change from morning to evening. God's truth does not.

When your emotions and God's Word appear to tell different stories, you don't have to pretend the emotion isn't there.

You bring the emotion under the authority of truth.

Over time, this changes the way you respond.

Instead of allowing every feeling to determine your direction, you learn to acknowledge what you feel while choosing to live according to what God says is true.

Truth To Carry Forward:
Feelings deserve acknowledgment, but truth deserves authority.
