There comes a point when what you've learned has to become something you live.
You can understand the truth.
Agree with the truth.
Write down the truth.
Pray about the truth.
But eventually, growth requires action.
That first step doesn't have to be dramatic. In fact, it often isn't.
It may be saying no where you would normally say yes.
Speaking honestly instead of managing someone's perception.
Stopping before returning to an old pattern.
Choosing obedience even though you're uncomfortable.
Responding according to God's Word instead of reacting according to your feelings.
The first step matters because it begins moving truth from something you know into something you practice.
Don't become overwhelmed by how far you still have to go.
God isn't asking you to complete the entire journey today.
Ask Him what obedience looks like right now.
Then take that step.
Tomorrow may require another one.
And eventually, those individual acts of obedience begin forming a new way of living.
Truth To Carry Forward:
You don't have to take every step today. But you do have to be willing to take the first one.
