Sometimes the circumstances change, but the pattern stays remarkably familiar.
Different relationship. Different workplace. Different conversation. Different season.
Yet somehow, you keep arriving at the same place.
That repetition is worth noticing.
Patterns can become so familiar that we stop recognizing them as patterns. We simply assume, “This is how things always go.”
But when God begins bringing awareness, He may allow you to recognize similarities you couldn't see before.
Maybe you repeatedly ignore warning signs.
Maybe you overextend yourself and eventually become resentful.
Maybe you avoid difficult conversations until the situation becomes unbearable.
Maybe you keep looking to people for something only God can provide.
Recognizing a pattern doesn't mean condemning yourself for having one.
It means becoming curious enough to ask:
What keeps happening here?
And then:
God, what do You want me to understand about this?
You don't have to fix the entire pattern today.
First, see it.
Because once something becomes visible, you can begin bringing it into the light of God's truth.
Truth To Carry Forward:
What feels like another isolated situation may actually be part of a familiar cycle God is helping you recognize.
