Sometimes you try to move on, but the uneasiness keeps returning.
You distract yourself. You reason with yourself. You tell yourself everything is fine. For a little while, the feeling becomes quieter.
Then it comes back.
Persistent restlessness does not automatically tell you what is wrong, but it can tell you that something deserves your attention.
Instead of immediately trying to make the discomfort disappear, consider bringing it
honestly before God.
What keeps coming back?
What have you repeatedly dismissed?
What situation, relationship, habit, belief, or pattern keeps disturbing your peace?
Awakening requires honesty. Sometimes we already sense that something is wrong but acknowledging it would mean admitting that something may eventually need to change.
You don't have to manufacture an answer. And you don't have to make a decision simply because you feel uncomfortable.
Take the restlessness to God.
Let Him examine what is underneath it. Let Scripture—not fear, emotion, pressure, or preference—help you discern what is true.
The goal isn't simply to become comfortable again.
The goal is to become attentive to what God may be showing you.
Truth To Carry Forward:
Don't automatically silence what keeps returning. Bring it before God and ask Him to help you understand it.
