Sometimes growth is easier to recognize by remembering who you used to be.
Think about the version of you who entered this journey.
What controlled your decisions?
What frightened you?
What did you believe?
What were you willing to tolerate?
Where did you look for security?
How did you respond when things didn't go according to plan?
Now consider where you are today.
You may still have growing to do.
You probably do.
Transformation isn't a declaration that you've arrived.
It's recognition that God has been working.
You know things now that you didn't understand before.
You recognize patterns you once couldn't see.
You've surrendered things you once desperately tried to control.
You've replaced beliefs that once shaped your life.
You've practiced new responses.
You've taken steps of obedience when you were afraid.
Don't diminish that because the work isn't finished.
God doesn't have to be finished for His work to be evident.
You aren't who you were.
And you don't have to return to old ways simply because they are familiar.
Continue walking forward as the person God has been shaping you to become.
Truth To Carry Forward:
You may not be finished, but you are not unchanged. God has been working in you.
